Gateway to New Jersey


Bergen County is located in the northeast corner of New Jersey bordering New York City and New York State. Bergen County is 239 square miles in size and home to over 885,000 residents in 70 municipalities. The County of Bergen was founded in 1683 and is rich in history. Bergen County is home of the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee where millions of commuters and travellers use everyday to access New York City as well as the highways that lead to the highways that cross our fine country. The New Jersey Meadowlands Sports Complex, home to the New York Giants, New York Jets, New Jersey Devils and New Jersey Nets is located in Bergen County as well as some popular television shows. Their are 73 law enforcement agencies including municipal, county police, county sheriffs department, county prosecutors office, Port Authority NY/NJ PD and the New Jersey State Police that patrol or protect the citizens and visitors to Bergen County. Our band is comprised of 47 members that have roots to Bergen County and we are proud to call Bergen County our home!
